Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the MotoLanka marketplace platform.
By using MotoLanka, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you and CodZix Pvt Ltd. By browsing the site, registering an account, or creating ads, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these conditions.
2. User Accounts & Verification
To list vehicles, you must register a phone number verified by a one-time passcode (OTP).
- You must provide true and accurate details during the profile completion step.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all actions taken under your account.
- Dealers or businesses must list their legally registered business names and numbers.
3. Vehicle Listings & Media License
When you upload descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images for an advertisement:
- You represent that you own or have the full rights to sell the vehicle and display all uploaded media.
- You retain ownership of your content. However, by uploading content, you grant MotoLanka a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, and distribute this media to public users.
- We reserve the right to edit or reject listing contents that fail to meet formatting, resolution, or safety standards.
4. Premium Listings & Boosting
MotoLanka offers optional "Boost" tools to pin advertisement listings as "Premium" at the top of category pages.
- Premium boosts last for exactly 7 days from the activation time.
- To maintain fair exposure, each seller is restricted to a maximum of one active premium boost at any time.
- If you mark a boosted vehicle as Sold or delete it permanently before the 7-day period expires, the boost is terminated immediately, and no partial or full refunds are provided.
5. Peer-to-Peer Transactions

MotoLanka is solely an online classifieds advertising directory. We are NOT a licensed vehicle dealer, broker, broker agency, or financial intermediary. We do not participate in, control, inspect, verify, or warrant the quality, safety, legality, roadworthiness, ownership history, or mechanical condition of any advertised vehicle. All negotiations, test drives, financial arrangements (leasing or cash), ownership transfers, and financial transactions are conducted strictly peer-to-peer between the buyer and the seller at their own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
MotoLanka and its parent company, CodZix Pvt Ltd, will not be liable for any losses, injury, fraud, financial damage, or legal disputes arising from vehicle purchases, inaccurate specifications listed by sellers, or communication between buyers and sellers.
Marketplace Listing Guidelines
7. Guideline: Be Authentic
Ensure listings represent active, existing vehicles available for immediate purchase:
- Do not post fake, placeholder, duplicate, or mock listings.
- Only post genuine photos of the actual vehicle. Using stock images or photos copied from other websites is strictly prohibited.
- Promptly mark listings as "Sold" once the vehicle has been purchased or taken off the market.
8. Guideline: Accuracy & Safety
You must supply accurate vehicle specifications in listing wizards:
- Accurately list the manufacturing year, mileage, engine capacity (CC), and vehicle condition (New or Used).
- Clearly disclose any significant defects, damages, active lease terms, or missing documentation in the description box.
- Do not list vehicles with illegal modifications or lack of clear ownership registrations.
9. Prohibited Activities
When using MotoLanka, you agree NOT to engage in:
- Automatic data collection (scraping, web crawling) of phone numbers or business coordinates.
- Spamming, harassment, or submitting multiple speculative offers to sellers.
- Creating accounts to systematically post fraudulent or bait-and-switch pricing listings.
